Rules
No-Limit Hold'em
The aim
Win chips by having the best five-card hand at the showdown, or by betting so that everyone else folds.
The deal
Each player gets two cards face down that only they can see. Then come up to four betting rounds: before the flop, after the flop (three shared cards face up), after the turn (a fourth shared card) and after the river (a fifth).
Your best hand
Your hand is the best five cards from your two cards and the five shared cards: you can use both of yours, one, or none.
Betting
On your turn you can fold, check (when there's nothing to call), call, bet or raise. The smallest bet is the big blind, and a raise must be at least as big as the last full bet or raise. You can always go all-in, even for less than that.
No-limit means you can bet or raise any amount up to all the chips in front of you.
Showdown
After the last betting round, the players still in compare hands and the best hand wins the pot. Winning hands are shown; losing hands stay hidden. Folded cards are never shown. Equal hands split the pot.
Tables and buy-ins
Tables have 6 or 9 seats. The blind levels are 10/20, 50/100, 250/500, 1,000/2,000, 10,000/20,000. The first 3 are open to everyone; each higher level opens once your Play Chips reach its smallest buy-in. You buy in for 40 to 100 big blinds.
Hand rankings
From best to worst:
- Straight flush: five cards in order, all of one suit. The best is A-K-Q-J-10.
- Four of a kind: four cards of the same rank.
- Full house: three of one rank and two of another.
- Flush: five cards of one suit, not in order.
- Straight: five cards in order, in any suits. An ace can be high (A-K-Q-J-10) or low (5-4-3-2-A, the lowest straight), but a straight can't go round the corner (no Q-K-A-2-3).
- Three of a kind: three cards of the same rank.
- Two pair: two cards of one rank and two of another.
- One pair: two cards of the same rank.
- High card: none of the above.
When two hands are the same kind, the higher cards win, then the remaining cards (kickers) one by one. Suits never rank: hands with the same cards in different suits split the pot.

Play money only
Pot Odds Club is play money with no real money involved. Play Chips and League Chips have no value outside the game: they can't be bought, sold or traded.
